Euonymus fortunei Harlequin

A dense, bushy evergreen shrub that can grow to 20-30cm in height. Its leaves are glossy, broadly rounded and variegated green and white. White flowers appear in early summer but are not conspicuous. It prefers partial sun but also grows well in sunny spots. Because of the light color of its leaves, it is best to avoid hot sun. Well-structured soil rich in nutrients suits it. Its water needs are moderate. With its round shape and green and white variegated leaves, it is a truly special evergreen ornament for the garden, standing out from other plants when used as a border.
